We have four key finance priorities which guide decision-making to ensure we deliver outstanding financial management across Salisbury Plain Academies.
Our priorities are to:
- Maximise income;
- Spend wisely;
- Maintain adequate reserves; and
- Be financially competent and confident.
We operate in a challenging economic environment, an environment that is impacting nationally on all schools and academies. Increases in areas such as national insurance, pensions and salaries, reductions in various grants and changes in pupil funding present significant challenges.
To address these issues we will ensure that across every part of our Trust we have robust budget planning, good cash management and a clear understanding of how we deliver high quality education within finite resources.
We are a new academy trust, formed in July 2016. Our financial statement is required to be posted here on or before 28th February.
