All Greek to me!

Pupils from Class 4 at St Michael’s Primary School swapped their school uniform recently for more unusual attire.
The youngsters went into school dressed as Ancient Greeks. Many of them designed their own costumes from materials they found at home.
“It made my day because I really enjoy dressing up,” said Class 4 student, Taylor.
The pupils enjoyed a full day of activities, including making their own chariots, and sampling some Greek food.
“Greek day was astonishing! I enjoyed the crafts and trying the food,” said Class 4 student, Morgann.
Everyone agreed it was a wonderful day. “It was a great way to celebrate our learning and I was impressed by all their costume efforts,” said Class 4 teacher, Mrs Lafferty.
