SENCo

Start date:                  1st January 2018

Salary:                        Negotiable

Location:                    Avon Valley College

Contract Term:          Permanent

 

We are looking for an experienced SENCo to deliver the statutory requirements of the SEN Code of Practice, this will include developing Education Health and Care Plans, Inclusion Plans and student passports to enable SEN students’ progress effectively with adequate support.

You will also provide leadership in the development and management of the teaching and learning of SEN students and inclusion practices within the school. This role also includes providing specialist teaching of literacy and language to identified students both in the classroom and exams.

Avon Valley College is an academy within the Salisbury Plain Academies Trust and is at a pivotal point in its exciting journey. With a new Principal in September 2017 and expansion plans on the horizon, doubling in size by 2019/2020, the future is bright for Avon Valley College.
